Crowfoot & Cross Town Garage Door Services was founded over 15 years ago. Peter and I both started our companies back in 1996 as sole proprietors. I operated Cross Town Garage Door Services and Peter operated Crowfoot. So, the company today is comprised of two separate garage door companies that merged into one. We both did not want to lose the individual trade names that our respective clientele have come to know us by. Hence, the long name.

In 2005, I decided to approach Peter to discuss the possibilities of taking our companies to the next level for several reasons. We were both busy with contract requests from builders, contractors and homeowners alike; more often than not, we found ourselves helping each other out. Our business philosophy and practices were similar and we both agreed that we wanted to set a precedent in the industry by treating our customers with respect and to be professional, honest, dependable and reliable – all qualities that we felt were lacking in the industry from our own personal experiences. It was in 2006 that the decision was made to merge our businesses and we haven’t looked back since.
