Is eyeliner important to your appearance and feeling of self confidence? Does your eyeliner smudge? Does it wear off during the day? Do you have trouble getting it straight or even? Are you allergic to cosmetic products or your allergies causing you to re-apply several times a day? Are you an active swimmer or athlete and don’t want to bother constantly putting eyeliner on and off? Do you wear glasses and aren’t able to put your eyeliner on without them?
If you answered YES to any of the questions above then it is important to know that you are not alone! Thousands, upon thousands of women all over the world are or have been in the same position…until now. Women have excellent results from the use of Permanent Makeup or Permanent Costmetics. There are many names for this procedure, including: Permanent Eyeliner, Semi Permanent Eyeliner, Eyeliner Tattoo, and more.
The eyes are the window to the soul, and with permanent cosmetics your eyes can be enhanced in so many different ways.
Save time applying eye make-up! Our Permanent Makeup Artist can imitate various styles of eye make-up, plus apply it with greater accuracy.
Add extra definition to your eyes with a natural look. Lash enhancements are perfect for adding extra definition to your eyes.
Improve the shape, contour or overall balance of your eyes –our Permanent Makeup Artist can use techniques similar to those of pro make-up artists to improve the overall appearance of your eyes.
Permanent eyeliner or eyelash enhancement helps women and men enhance the appearance of their eyes. It eliminates the need to outline eyelids with liquid liners or pencils and improves the appearance of missing, thin, or light colored lashes. Permanent eyeliner allows people to swim, shower, or exercise without having makeup smudges. It provides safety and convenience to people with oily skin, vision problems, or unsteady hands. Eye doctors (Ophthalmologists and Optometrists) also recommend permanent eyeliner to patients who wear contact lenses, have watery eyes, or are allergic to regular makeup.
Permanent Eyeliner is a fantastic procedure for those who:
1. Have difficulty applying eye liner because of poor eyesight or unsteady hands.
2. Those allergic to regular eye makeup causing eyes to water or itch. We only use pigments that are hypo-allergenic.
3. Those with thin or non existent lashes.
4. Those who have an active lifestyle and have trouble finding eyeliner that won’t smudge throughout the day or stay in place till the end of the night.
With our experienced Permanent Makeup Artist, the sky is the limit. Discuss the look you want with your artist and they will develop a personalized solution for you.
Will my eyes be swollen? Your eyes will slightly swollen after the procedure, however, most clients describe the feeling as hardly noticeable. When a client is looking for a thicker looking upper and lower eyeliner, there will be some swelling, more so the second day. Eyelids are very sensitive so treatments in this area are very gentle. Because the eyelids are so sensitive, to get a beautiful, full, thick layer of pigment into the skin will require 2-4 visits, building upon the last treatment. Full black eyeliner is a commitment of several visits, over several months.
Do I keep my eyes open during the treatment ? Our permanent eyeliner artist will instruct you when to keep your eyes open and when to you are able to close them. Closing the eyes minimizes blinking and eye flickering and is more comfortable for the client.
Do I have to have full eyeliner to define my eyes ? Again, it is a matter of preference. Not everyone wants to wake up with full eyeliner. You can discuss your concerns and get advise from our permanent makeup artist during your FREE consultation. You can enhance the upper eyelid, the bottom eyelid, or opt for our upper and lower eyelid treatment. As well, you need not do both eyelids at once. If it would make you fell better, you can do either the upper or lower eyeliner and once you are comfortable with the treatment, you
I wear lash extensions, will I need to remove them ? Yes you will need to remove them in order to give our permanent makeup artist a clear view and easy access to the eyelid lash line.
Do I need to stop my lash growth serum (ie. Latisse, etc) ? Yes. We advise to stop using any lash growth serums or Latisse on the day of your treatment and for at least 3 weeks after your eyelid(s) have healed completely. Once your eyelid has completely healed, then you can restart your lash growth serums.
How long will a semi permanent eyeliner tattoo last ? You have finally completed 2-3 applications of permanent eyeliner makeup, and now you can enjoy the results for life. However, after achieving your desired result, you should expect to do annual top ups to keep the color looking fresh. Without further color top ups the color will fade over time, exposure to sun, etc.
