Personal project - Box experiment 001 I rarely carve time for myself to experiment and work on personal projects, but I had an itch to scratch and here is the result. I might make this a series of some sort, so this will be 001. Inspired by those beloved multi-packs of mini cereal boxes from childhood, I wanted to package different varieties of product in a similar fashion, while exploring unconventional shapes for the boxes individually and as a group. The result is a set of 6 triangular prisms that nest into a hexagonal tray. For the product, I went with dried mushrooms by a fictive brand from Québec. These were super fun to work on. Very grateful to Alexandre Venne who knocked it out of the park with the 3D work. The beautiful typeface (Forevs by OH no Type Co. really set the tone as well!) -Jon #graphicdesign #packaging

Chocolats Boreal reached out to us to create a packaging system for their chocolate bars. Previously in Kraft envelopes, the bars would move to paper wrappers — a lighter, more eco-friendly option with a classic look. The challenge: 36 bars within 9 collections. We proposed a distinct graphic style for each collection within a cohesive design system which could easily expand with future new collections.
