Our MYHQ development in Morisset has been a hive of activity since starting early 2024 and is very rapidly nearing completion. The Kalef Avenue site consists of 11 individual units, over two separate buildings. The construction team has been able to progress so effectively by utilising our vertically integrated partnerships within the Hunter Construction Group and doing things The GWH Way. It's been a massive couple of weeks for the team onsite at CREST. Currently, our team have completed pouring Level 3 which was approximately 1,135m2! This pour took around 36 concrete trucks and close to 40 people onsite making this milestone a success. The level 4 rooftop is to be completed in mid April and will mark the top out of the building, which is an exciting and pivotal moment for the project. #CREST #GWH #buildingforlife #georgetown

This morning we had the privilege of listening to Patrizia Cassaniti Touched by Christopher speak to us about workplace deaths in NSW. Since her son Christopher's tragic workplace accident due to a jobsite scaffold collapse in Sydney, she is sharing the importance of not brushing off those "she'll be right" moments and speaking up. It's pour day at Macquarie Tower!   The first half of the Level 3 transfer slab has taken approx. 80 Hunter Readymix Concrete trucks, 45 tonne of steel and 550m3 of concrete. Once the largest pour on Level 3 is complete, the levels will revert to a smaller area which will allow the team to complete them in a single pour. At this point, they can make greater use of the precast columns and wall systems supplied by our integrated partners Hunter Precast, which will keep the team moving ahead through our structural works.
