🕊️ Today, we remember the Survivors, their families, and communities impacted by the enduring legacy of Residential Schools. We recognize the presence and ancestral heritage of Indigenous peoples, both past and present, who are the original inhabitants and traditional stewards of the land we now know as Canada. We pay tribute to the rich diversity of over 630 First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. We acknowledge the profound and lasting impacts of colonization, which have affected Indigenous communities, cultures, languages, and territories in immeasurable ways. GraceMed is grateful to operate 12 clinics on these Indigenous lands, where we work, live, and create memories. We embrace our responsibility for reconciliation and our commitment to stand as allies in support of Indigenous rights and healing.
