GeeksForLess Inc. is looking for Senior SAP Functional Consultant (CML) for banking client from Canada. Fully remote and full-time, long-term cooperation. Position Overview: The Senior SAP Functional Consultant is a key liaison between the Business Analyst and application development. The role is responsible for determining SAP design and configuration solutions that translate business needs into development requirements. This individual will be responsible for requirements planning and management; elicit, analyze and validate requirements for new or existing process, policies, and information systems. Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals on time and within budget. Mentor and coach junior team members on best practices. Position Responsibilities: - Work with Business Analysts and Developers to assess current technical capabilities, propose technical solutions for business requirements, and translate them into technical requirements. - Work closely with the BA team in developing the test strategy (UAT). - Unit Testing and supporting the testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results. - Adhere to existing processes including the system development life cycle & project management methodology, architecture. - Contribute to project plans by participating in scoping and estimating of proposed projects. - Communicate project status, provide timely escalation of issues to the Project managers. - Work with internal BA’s and project members to identify business issues and/or enhancements. - Provide highly innovative solutions that drive process improvements with available hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. - Work with BA Team to facilitate business requirements gathering process (SAP blueprinting). - Work with other Functional leads to understand cross functional solutions and impact on Projects and support. Related Experience: ⚫ 5+ years experience in financial industry is required, preferably banking and loans management. ⚫ 3+ year experience in SAP CML. ⚫ 10+ years experience with SAP projects. Specialized Skills: ⚪ Banking (Loans) and finance experience. ⚪ Experience taking ownership and building a functional area – CML. ⚪ AAP CML, Treasury, FICO or Deposits certified. ⚪ SDLC project experience participating in blue printing and configuration. ⚪ Defect Management experience for Postproduction Support. ⚪ Strong communication and interpersonal skills allowing easy integration with other functional consultants and team members.
