We created two animations and two industrial videos for JR Automation to showcase a brand new product of theirs to clients and trade show attendees. 3D animation was a particularly helpful format in demonstrating their products’ intricate workings, and all the CAD modeling data they provided us was nearly seamless for use in the creative assets we produced. #b2bmarketing #b2b #3Danimation #3dmodeling

We’ve been noticing some trends in ecommerce product display recently… 📈 More and more product configurators with interactive elements. Big brands like Nike have raised the bar for online product display, and companies who have followed suit tend to be ahead of the curve as compared to their competitors. But will this last as more and more businesses follow suit? 📉 More video than photo. This is another step in the direction of brands upping their game in terms of ways to showcase their products and services more dynamically. Plus, the engagement statistics for videos vs photos on social doesn’t hurt, either… 📊 There is still a place for still imagery… but you need a mix of content to engage with users in different ways. In the end, it’s not the medium itself that matters — it’s where it fits in to your overall strategy. Brands who are thoughtful about how they showcase their products will always win the day. How can marketers capitalize on AR, VR, and mixed reality? These digital solutions might be a fit if: 🎪 You do a lot of tradeshows: Having cool tech at your booth can be a big draw. ✨ You’re looking to offer an immersive experience: Create new and deeper ways to engage with a product or service. 😲 You want that “WOW” factor: Drive memorability, hype, and excitement around your offerings. But, they do have their downsides: 💸 They’re expensive: Many exhibitors we discuss this with get excited about the tech, but the price tag comes as a surprise. 🐴 No one wants a one-trick pony: Possibilities for subsequent usage - beyond the tradeshow - should be considered to make it a worthwhile investment. 📱 Assets are often device-specific: Any assets created for an experience might not be (re)usable in the same way. TLDR: Really consider whether AR, VR, and MR fit into your overall digital and marketing strategy before committing to them. We often recommend interactive touchscreen animation to our clients as an alternative. Why? Because it is still quite engaging — but the collateral is easier to reuse and send to clients or use for other marketing materials. Our solution: We collaborated closely with Bowfinger Archery's design team to bring the 1Sight to life. They provided robust CAD data and our 3D modelling team in Nashville quickly transformed the concept into photorealistic renderings and animations. The results: Bowfinger Archery now possesses a suite of visual assets that showcase the 1Sight's features in stunning detail. From product animations to still images, our work has enabled them to captivate their audience and generate excitement around their product launch. The owner and lead design engineer expressed satisfaction with the results, highlighting the effectiveness of our approach in showcasing the intricate workings of their products.
