Are solar panels recyclable? 🧐 We get that question a lot! As of right now, there unfortunately isn't a great solution in place. We're hanging on to any of our defective or damaged panels until there is a pathway to recycle them. Globally we're probably 10 years away from a whole whack of solar panels that will be nearing the end of their useful life. Thankfully there are smart minds preparing for the influx of panels that will need to be recycled and valuable raw materials repurposed. This video from Matt Ferrell of "Undecided with Matt Ferrell" dives into the topic of solar panel recycling and provides some insight into how one company is making it happen very efficiently, as well as a glimpse at some other methods that are being tested all around the world.
