  • "I need a video, but I'm camera shy 😩." We hear this a lot, but don't worry; 1) You look better on camera than you think 2) We intentionally get it wrong before we attempt to get it right, to help you to loosen up (it's an acting tactic, we both have drama backgrounds!) 3) We have tools to help you feel relaxed and calm for your video 4) You're the only one who cares if you mess up (seriously!) ✅ We're here to make you look good in your video, feel good in your interview, and help you to feel prepared and ready to go. If you work with any video production company, they should be helping you with this. Especially if this is a concern of yours. 👍

Video Agency Co-Founder at Awesome Business Videos | Any problem can be solved with creativity ✨

Scott is a realtor in Nelson, BC. He's charismatic, kind, and professional. He needed to tell his story so that people can get a feeling for him before they even give him a call; knowing they'll be in good hands. The often cold, corporate world of real estate isn't really his thing. And even though he shows up professionally, he likes to take a caring, community minded approach. 🤝 Now, if you spend one hour with Scott, you'll see how intertwined and connected he is in the community. ☎️ Getting tons of phone calls, stopping to say hi to people on the street, that's just Scott. And I think that speaks to his character- integrity and honesty is just in his personality! So, what better way to communicate that than with video. • 👀 Where should I look during a video interview? 🎥 Anywhere but the floor. 😉 Just kidding- look at the interviewer. If you're filming social media content though, look straight down the barrel 🛢 of the camera, ie at the lens or just above it. We help our clients feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera, and guide them every step of the way.

  • 🔥 That competitive edge you're looking for: A Brand Story video. This is what makes up a Brand Story video: 1) Who you are 2) Why you do what you do 3) What you do 4) How you do it (and what makes you unique) 5) A CTA Simple, yet effective. If woven together with the right elements and artfully composed with a cohesive storyline, a Brand Story video is a powerful ally. Tell your story, make an impact.

  • Social media marketing is not what you think. 👉 A lot of people don't know this... (you may) A lot of people think that just because they post on social media, that means their business will be saved. (not true) But why doesn't it work like that? 📱 It's because social media is primarily for Demand Generation, not Lead Generation. 🤷 What is Demand Generation? It's the act of increasing the volume of people who know about you or your services, without necessarily trying to convert them. 👉 Then, one day, they might say "Oh, I could actually really use (insert your service here)." And who are they going to think about? Probably you, because your face has been on their feed for 2 years straight. Did you already know this? ⬅️

  • 🤝 Give in public, ask in private. 💰 What does that mean? Essentially, it means that you generate "good-will", as Alex Hormozi puts in in his $100M Leads book. And you do this by giving in public. What this does is it builds trust better than asking from people. Because people like to get things out of their relationships. "What's in it for me?". This is a natural human instinct. 💁🏼👩🏾 So when people continually get value from following you, being in your presence, and subscribing to your email newsletter then... 2 years down the line when you're in a sales call with them, they're more likely to trust you. Yes, this is a long game. So obviously you need to do what works best for you right now. But if you're in it for the long game, this is a good idea. ✅ Thoughts?

  • ⛔️ Don't wear a white shirt for a video interview! ⛔️ In general, it's not a good idea. Because, the shade of white tends to show up a little blue and can make our colouring process difficult. 👉 Unless your work uniform is white, like you're a doctor, stay away from white. Instead, focus on wearing neutral colours or on-brand colours. Also, just focus on showing up like how you want your clients to see you. How do you look like when you're working with your clients? Just show up as that. 🎬 Then you'll feel comfortable and rock your interview! Happy interviewing.

  • 🤝 Imagine being able to instantly connect and build trust with your ideal client or customer... ✊ And not even have to lift a finger. 💎 That's a Brand Story Video; our favourite kind of video. That's the magic of storytelling, connecting on an emotional level, captivating images, and automating it so that it exists at every touch point of your customer experience. ✅ Are you taking the time to work ON your business and not IN your business?
