IBRACAShirts was designed to be fashionable, high quality, loose-fitting, beautifully embroidered shirts with large pockets which helped to secure surgical drains, decrease handling, and protect the tubing.
Management of the drains and preventing post-surgical complications is critical. BRACAShirts will help improve post-operative health care outcomes by reducing drain extractions, improve safety with no pins and secured drains in the pockets which allows the patient to move and ambulate. Mobility post operatively is important to prevent post-operative pneumonia and decrease the incidence of deep vein thrombosis. Improved physical comfort, improved psychological comfort and body image is extremely important post operatively. Post op complication should always be minimized.
