About Bastien & Prizant

Established January 2020

Bastien has been a trusted name in Ottawa eye care since 1913. When the jeweler R.J. Bastien started manufacturing eyeglass frames at his first location on Dalhousie Street, he recognized customer service as the most important factor of his business – a sentiment that remains a priority over a century later at Bastien Prizant Optometry. With a patient base that spans multiple generations, the clinic is an essential fixture with deep roots in the Ottawa community. We also treat patients from Parliament Hill and Ottawa Byward Market. Digital retinal imaging by Optomap, state of the art pre-testing instrumentation, is included in every comprehensive eye exam. The Optomap provides for a no – drops, holistic eye exam.
