About Canadian Radon Services Index
Established October 2026
The Canadian Radon Services Index is an independent, Canadian-owned reference for radon services in Canada. It lists radon testing and mitigation businesses in every province and territory, shows radon levels by location, and publishes plain-language guides for homeowners, renters, landlords and home buyers. Every listing and every figure on the site names its source and the date it was last checked.
What the Index covers
Directory: Radon testing and mitigation businesses across Canada. Each listing is built from the business’s own published information and public registers. It shows where the business works and its credentials where they can be verified, and each listing is dated. Listing is free for every business.
Data and Reports: Radon levels by province, territory and community, drawn from public survey data. The source is named for each number. The Index also publishes original datasets on Canada’s radon services market, under an open licence for reuse and citation.
Places: Local pages for communities across Canada that bring together radon levels, local providers and the rules that apply there.
Devices: Radon test kits and monitors sold in Canada, including recall status where Health Canada has issued a notice.
Guides, FAQ and Tools: Plain explanations of what radon is, how to test, what results mean, how mitigation works and what it typically involves.
How the Index works
The Index publishes its methodology, its sourcing rules for each kind of claim, an editorial review process and a public corrections log. Anyone can report an error, and each correction is recorded.
Who is behind it
The Canadian Radon Services Index is published by SIUYA Inc., a Canadian corporation. It is editorially independent. No business pays to be listed, and the Index does not sell or carry radon services itself.
What the Index is not
The Index is not a government agency and is not affiliated with Health Canada or the Canadian National Radon Proficiency Program (C-NRPP). It reports on certification programs independently. It does not perform radon testing or mitigation.
Mission
Fewer people in Canada living with high radon at home.
