What Is Raw Pet Food?

Raw pet food typically combines raw meat with ingredients such as organ meat and appropriately ground bone. Depending on the recipe, other whole-food ingredients may also be included.

Dee Dee’s Raw offers a variety of recipes for dogs and cats, including Chicken, Turkey, Beef, Lamb and Tripe options. Our food is conveniently portioned into ¼ lb blocks, which helps take some of the guesswork out of serving and storing raw food.

How Much Raw Food Should I Feed My Dog?

Every dog is different, but a common starting point for a healthy adult dog is approximately 2–3% of their body weight per day. Age, activity level, metabolism and body condition can all affect how much an individual dog needs.

Puppies generally require a greater percentage of their body weight while they are growing. If you’re unsure where to start, feeding amounts can be adjusted over time based on your dog’s individual needs and body condition.

What About Cats?

Cats can eat raw food too. Dee Dee’s offers raw recipes specifically suitable for cat owners looking for simple, minimally processed food.

A typical adult cat may eat around ¼ lb per day, although individual requirements vary depending on the cat’s size, age, activity level and metabolism.

Customers can purchase food as needed or choose a flexible subscription with deliveries every 1–12 weeks. Subscriptions can be skipped, paused or cancelled when needed.
