Dundee Recycling was founded in 1989. It was started as a small operation by Bill and Irene Kropf outside of New Dundee, Ontario on Trussler Road. Dundee Recycling started because Bill needed equipment and went to an auction and realized that there was an opportunity to recycle material in an environmentally friendly way while also making a business out of it. The company kept growing and in the early 90’s the company relocated to Bridge Street and has been servicing the needs of the community and surrounding areas ever since. Dundee Recycling is now run by Dennis Kropf and is in the early stages of its third generation.
