About Harrison's Hope
Established January 2024
Harrison’s Hope is a registered Canadian charity (CRA #739239754 RR0001). It provides lifelong, inclusive support to individuals living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and to the families who care for them.
Whom: We serve people with FASD at every age, from youth moving into adulthood to aging adults, along with their caregivers.
What: We support individuals living with FASD, through key transitions, including building life skills, getting ready for post secondary, employment, lived experience mentorship, justice navigation, community connection and caregiver respite. We also work with agencies and systems, offering collaboration and FASD-informed training for professionals. Our Accessibility and Co-Design Services help organizations build programs and spaces that are truly inclusive.
Why it matters: FASD is Canada’s most common neurodevelopmental disability, yet it is the most underserved. Without support, families face isolation, stigma and gaps in services. Harrison’s Hope fills those gaps so that individuals living with FASD can live safe, connected and meaningful lives.
