Photography is all about perception and what the mind interprets. Whats beautiful to me may not be all that beautiful to you and vice versa. What makes it fascinating is how it hits our central nervous system, how it gives us the option of loving the shot or hating it. Personally, I’m never more relaxed than when I’m outdoors looking for that next shot to share with the world.

Ansel Adams and David Hurn are as different as night and day but they inspire passion and make us shudder with anticipation….pardon the pun.


Photography allows us to remember and capture forever, where we’ve been and what we’ve done with our lives which is why its so relevant.


I shoot Nikon and Canon depending on the circumstances. I love macro, landscape and architecture but mostly I like a challenge. My ultimate dream is to tour the American Midwest shooting what Ansel Adams shot. Buttes in Utah, arches in Idaho and the vistas of Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada. I want to dip my feet in the Salton Sea and ride a burro up the winding face of the Grand Canyon, all the time shooting with the innocent smile of a child on my face……I will get there, and until I do I plan to enjoy the journey.
