Most couples don’t struggle because they don’t care about their relationship. They struggle because they get stuck in patterns that keep repeating, where conversations escalate, shut down, or go in circles without real resolution.
RLT Marriage Counselling provides focused couples counselling using Relational Life Therapy (RLT), a direct, structured approach designed to create change in how partners show up with each other. Instead of only talking about problems, sessions work with what is actually happening between you in real time, helping you recognize patterns, communicate more clearly, and repair conflict without it turning into the same fight again.
This is practical, skills-based work. Couples leave sessions with tools they can use immediately, not just something to reflect on after. The goal is to build consistency in how you communicate, rebuild trust, and reconnect in a way that holds when things get difficult.
Sessions are extended to allow deeper, more focused work without being cut off just as things begin to open up. Most couples experience meaningful progress in a shorter period of time compared to traditional weekly therapy models.
Virtual sessions are available across Alberta, with limited in-person sessions in Red Deer.
