The greenlid compostable containers are made from 100% post-consumer end-of-life recycled paper that can no longer be used for any other purpose. We have added natural minerals to the pulp that prevent leaks from even the wettest organic waste. Pulp
products are currently accepted in all organic waste programs and are
completely compostable in home compost piles. In addition, using pulp fibre in the greenlid containers can improve the quality of compost. When organic waste is mixed with fibrous material it helps with the breakdown process and improves the quality.
