Thorncliffe Place is a family-owned retirement residence in the West End of Ottawa, Ontario, offering an active, social lifestyle for seniors at any level of care. Residents enjoy freshly cooked meals, housekeeping and personal care services, and a variety of indoor and outdoor common areas, all supported by a dedicated team of more than fifty staff members. Developed in 1989 by Donald and Helene Francis, the residence is part of a family that has been involved in Ottawa’s seniors community for over 50 years, and it is now owned by their son, Michael Francis. More than 80 percent of new residents find Thorncliffe Place through word of mouth, a reflection of the satisfaction of residents and their families. Prospective residents are welcome to tour the suites and grounds, enjoy a meal, and meet future neighbours.
